Gravel ride to Shannon, IL from Oregon on some of the nicest gravel to be found. This is the smaller cousin of the Chonkey Kong Country 200k. We ride to Shannon and then loop back on a shorter loop. Meet up at the parking lot of the Paddlewheel in and try your hand at some gravel. This is not a RUSA event. There are no controls or time limits, just lots of fun. On ride support and SAG will be available.
There will be a pre-ride zoom meeting the night before. This is mandatory for all riders so that we can go over last minute information and safety.

I forgot to hit start on the Garmin until about a couple of miles down the road.
Great ride. Not a lot of gravel on the way back, but I guess it gave us a break.
Yay!
Great route and ride. The wind added an additional challenge yet the sunshine and good people helped overcome any challenge, There was one mapping -Robles where I got stuck in a u-turn loop on my Garmin. Glad you were on the road and got me going in the right direction. I also forgot that the map took us back to the hotel. Took me a few moments to remember where the park was. Silly rider mistake nothing to do with the event.
Fun route! Some beautiful country out that way
We loved the course - and we enjoyed ourselves through the challenging hills:)
